999 acknowledgment files
A 999 response can report whether an X12 transaction set or functional group was accepted, accepted with errors, or rejected. This reader surfaces common AK/IK acknowledgment segments but does not replace the receiving organization’s full error report or companion guide.
277CA claim acknowledgment files
A 277CA can report claim-level acknowledgment status after electronic claim submission. This reader shows common STC status segments and nearby claim/reference values when present. Keep the raw codes available when contacting the payer or clearinghouse.
Important limitation
EDI acknowledgments can contain situational loops and external status/error code sets. This free tool is intentionally a readable first-pass viewer, not a complete X12 compliance engine or a guarantee that a claim was accepted for adjudication.
